Objectives

Founded in 1911, the Society of Genealogists is Britain's premier family history society. The Society maintains an exceptional genealogical library and education centre in Clerkenwell, London, with a unique and comprehensive collection of family history books, documents and pamphlets. The Society of Genealogists holds regular study days, lectures, workshops and evening classes to help all family historians to take their research further. It is a thriving and vibrant community of likeminded individuals, who work together to support one another, as they discover their family's past.
