Socialising Angels was created with the awareness that everybody deserves to have enjoyable social experiences with their peers.

We are committed to organising activities which will allow young adults between 18 – 25 years of age, with SEND to socialise with each other and build healthy relationships. With support from our team, we will assist the young adults to navigate these experiences and access the local community at the same time.

These experiences will build confidence, courage, independence, people skills and life skills. It will promote the awareness of the benefits of creating and building friendships. They will be part of some decision making which can empower the young adults and may have a positive effect on their social, emotional and mental health.

We aim to better the lives of these individuals and their families through support, guidance and from them personally seeing and experiencing the impact this service has within their lives.

We create opportunities to uplift and enrich the wellbeing of young adults with SEND, and their families. By providing bespoke support to the young adults to ensure they have enjoyable, empowering experiences socialising and interacting with each other.

We will work in partnership with parent/carers to create a consistency of approach to support the users by providing feedback, resources and tools to promote the new skills the young adult has acquired.

They will be supported by trained staff to assist them on their journey of socialising with each other that can create and build friendships

Being a community interest company, our foundation is based on Socialising Angels being user centred to ensure that everything we do puts them first.

We will establish connections with local authorities and other organisations to provide the best quality services and experiences for the young adults.

Providing a quality bespoke service for our users will promote sustainability of Socialising Angels through partnerships with the local authority, funds, donations and other revenue streams.

This is broadening horizons for the futures of the young adults with SEND

We provide opportunities by organising events/activities/programmes to help people socialise, these include trips to the cinema, bowling, and dining at restaurants as well as weekly Sunday walks. The programmes are to work more long-term and intensively with the young adults to build their skills within interaction, communication, and engagement with others. From our services they will also learn and improve on general life skills that can be used when interacting with others and out in their community.
