Objectives

Social Workers Without Borders (SWWB) is a growing, dynamic and unique charity engaged in direct support, campaigning and education on issues related to social work and asylum seekers, refugees and migrants. SWWB grew out of our work in Calais with separated children seeking to enter the UK for protection.  SWWB registered as a charity in 2017 and is run by a volunteer trustee group, steering group and an employed Development Lead.

Activities

SWWB provides expert social work reports to support migrant, asylum seeking and refugee individuals and families to appeal immigration decisions or decisions by local authorities, schools and other institutions with regard to their care, wellbeing and rights.  Our work is grounded in human rights and equality for all regardless of immigration status.
