Objectives

SLQ aim is for Every Young Person to Reach Their Potential. We support this by helping young people gain transferable life-skills with recognised qualifications and awards. In the last year we supported over 125,000 young people to participate in over 4 million hours of practically applied learning and peer-volunteering.

Activities

Working with approximately 2,000 centres across the UK, SLQ create qualifications and awards that support young people to develop life-long, transferable skills based on our skill framework developed with Youth Employment UK. But we want to do more! With an increasing focus on developing character education within education (circa 80% of Sports Leaders centres) there has never been a more exciting time to join Sports Leaders as we evolve to increase the amount of young people who benefit from our qualifications and awards, develop new and innovative partnerships and increase our digital presence.
