Objectives

Simon Says is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation based in Hampshire that aims to support children and young people who have a close relative or friend who has died or is dying.  The death of someone important can have a devastating effect on a young person, but we know that given appropriate support and information, children and young people can be helped to understand what has happened and can be helped to rebuild their lives.

Activities

The aim of the charity is to ensure every bereaved child and young person up to the age of 18years, living in Hampshire, has access to the support they need.

The support offered by the charity includes:

* Provide a telephone support line to families and professionals seeking advice

* Host monthly support groups across Hampshire

* Offer information and advice to enable children and young people to move forward with their lives, while remembering their significant person.

* Advice, support and training for teachers and other professionals working with bereaved children and young people.

* Hold an annual residential weekend..
