Objectives

The Simon Community is a therapeutically informed community of ex-street homeless people and (mainly young) full-time volunteers who live and work together in London. We transform the lives of everyone involved by running a wide range of outreach services to people still on the streets. Our services are designed to make and sustain relationships with those most in need and those who are hardest to reach. Our full time volunteers, living and working with our residents are supported by part-time volunteers, some of whom are ex-homeless and want to support those still on the streets. Leadership is provided by a Director and we have a full time Office Manager, as well as a live in Community Support Worker.

Activities

Last year we made 62,374 connections through our soup run, tea run, winter shelter, evening centre, women’s group, street café, street work and doorstep hospitality.
