Significent CIC is a Not for Profit social enterprise that supports post 25 year olds who are undertaking, or who aspire to undertake, educational or vocational courses as a means to further their personal aims and career aspirations.
Through our 'lived experience' educational support services Significent CIC aims to increase the successful completion rate of adult learners, many of whom have financial obligations and dependents, engaged in full or part time academic or vocational courses.
Our support services are subject independent and designed to cover the specific difficulties faced by adult learners that we find are generally not provided by learning provider and can cover matters such as:
- balancing work and study
- money worries
- practicalities of returning to study as an adult
- concerns about ability and self confidence
- family time and social interaction
