We’re a cooperative in Edinburgh working for a world without waste!
We empower our community to live a low carbon life. With us, our community can learn to fix a bike, swap their pre - loved things, enjoy some rescued food and be inspired by new ideas. We involve volunteers in everything we do, providing opportunities for skills development and building community. Through this we reach our dual impact of, on one hand, reducing carbon emissions and landfill waste, and on the other hand creating a healthier, happier, more skilled community in Edinburgh.
We run three premises in Edinburgh, which include a community crafts workshop and meeting space, community bike workshop with regular DIY bike repair sessions, and a Zero Waste Hub with a swap - shop, a rescued food market, a cafe and an event and meeting space. We run various workshops and we operate on a non-hierarchical basis, providing our members with various opportunities to engage in our decision-making.
