Shropshire Languages Society delivers specialist languages and communication education and training for the less fortunate, children and the elderly. This is to engage them, aid their return to education and work or integration into the community. The charity is also the local county network of the national subject body for language learning, the Association for Language Learning (ALL).
The Society delivers specialist teaching and learning and careers advice and support for the areas of languages education and communication impairments. We aim to engage people in the community through learning of languages. We offer less fortunate individuals the opportunity to learn a language at free or reduced rates. We also provide learning resources for which no state funding or provision is available.
