Objectives

Shine A Light Support Service are a Children’s Cancer Charity who support families with children aged between 0-24 who are affected by childhood cancer. Our services are designed to support the whole family from date of diagnosis for as long as they need us.

Activities

We run weekly open house drop in sessions for parents and any children not at school/ pre-school.
We offer home visits
We offer one to one sessions at our centre
We hold activity days and outings in school holidays which range from local activity days at our centre to day trips.
We hold teen evenings for our 11+ age group (these are for both children with cancer and also their siblings)
We hold parents social evenings
Once a month we are able to offer pranic healing (which is a type of holistic therapy) to families - thanks to Faulkewood Therapies.
