Our organisation is aimed at Sherwood residents but this is not exclusive. We aim to support people to grow food sustainably and to provide a place for nature to thrive. The benefits are in meeting new people, feeling connected to the local community, producing organic fruit and vegetables at low cost, making a difference and being part of a team A sense of achievement and appreciation of the outdoor environment
Small plots are allocated, as available to individuals and members advise and support with growing as needed. Shared spaces also provide opportunities to learn skills in composting and pruning for example. Regular working parties take place to maintain the gardens which are an opportunity to learn more about gardening tasks. There are workshops and open days where people can visit and join in a variety of activities
