The Sheila McKechnie Foundation (SMK) exists to support and champion campaigners and change-makers both in the UK and overseas.

Set up in the memory of Dame Sheila McKechnie eleven years ago, SMK was the first organisation devoted to supporting campaigners, and is currently the UK’s largest provider of training and coaching. We aim to continue to provide practical support to campaigners but are also looking to develop our policy and thought leadership work to become more of a voice for campaigners.  SMK enjoys a very positive reputation in the sector, and has many high profile friends and supporters.
