Objectives

Our beneficiaries are adults living with a life limiting illness and their carers.

Young people who are facing bereavement or who are bereaved. Young carers and young people living with a life limiting illness and who are in need of transitional care.

Activities

The Shakespeare Hospice supports adults and young people living in the community with a life limiting illness and those who care for them. Our services are delivered through day Hospice, Hospice at Home and a Young peoples service.

  • Day Hospice offers adults clinical and holistic suport through complementary and diversional therapies and counselling.
  • Our Hospice at Home team help patients spend their final days at home surrounded by their loved ones.
  • Our Young peoples service, supports pre and post bereavement, young carers and those in need of Transitional care.
