Activities

Shadow To Shine is a community interested company (CIC) operating in inner city London, we offer mentoring, work shadowing, work experience and employability skills training to young people aged between 16-30 who face barriers which are stopping the young people from reaching their full potential.

Our services provide young people with opportunities and the skills required to achieve their professional and entrepreneurial goals.

We strive to empower the next generation.

The Shadow To Shine model is simple yet effective; we provide training so that young people are ready for work, we then facilitate work shadowing and experiences through our partners so that our mentees have exposure to some of the best organisations in London, and finally, we pair young people with a mentor who will help guide them into long term employment. We also cultivate an extensive network of mentors, corporate businesses and other charities with parallel ideals to promote a change in the way young people facing barriers are recruited and viewed in the workplace, we encourage a change not just in mindset of the young people, but in the employer too.

The mission is clear: we will bridge the gap between young people and their work based and entrepreneurial goals so that they have long term success in their chosen profession.
