Objectives

Sew Fabulous Community Interest Company is based in Brighton Open Market. We provide sewing classes and workshops to all, regardless of financial or social circumstances. We have been here for two and a half years, we were incorporated in April 2014.

The day to day running of the studio is managed by myself, Susie Deadman and the other exec director Susan Mcfarlane.

There is a third (non) exec director Jonny Denis.

Sew Fabulous provides sewing workshops to all regardless of social and economic circumstances.

We have a sliding payment scale for classes and secure external funds wherever possible to be able to offer free courses for unemployed local residents.

We run hen parties, baby showers and children’s parties and have some other well paying jobs. Profits go towards subsidising classes in the studio.

We employ another teacher Charlotte Amery to teach pattern cutting and we host guest tutor workshops regularly.
