Since opening to the public in 2014, Severndroog Castle has established itself as a local and London heritage experience, capitalizing on the spectacular views of London which can be seen from the roof viewing platform. As well as being open to the general public, we offer pre-booked educational visits for local schools and groups and offer an exciting programme of events throughout the year. Building on our initial success, we are now working to enhance our visitor experience and find new ways in which this unique heritage site, described as an urban oasis, can benefit the local community.
With a part time Heritage Manager and Marketing Officer, Severndroog Castle is dependent on its core of 25 volunteers to welcome our visitors, help plan our events and provide administrative support. The Castle welcomes visitors, holds collaborative community events and hosts school visits. In addition, we are available for private hires and have a Tea Room run by Terrace Catering.
