Activities

*SEND: Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

OUR VISION:  An effective and simple structure of *SEND support, accessible to all who need it.

OUR MISSION:  To deliver the innovative user friendly SEND unlocked Directory App and Website, providing information, advice and guidance for accessing the wide range of support and services available to the SEND Community and in doing so:

  • supporting a culture of collaboration, positivity, transparency and accountability across the whole SEND Sector and amongst the SEND Community.
  • improving access to SEND support by providing the necessary information and tools for families, carers and individuals with SEND to identify everything available to them and assist in navigating the complex application processes together
  • empowering families, carers and individuals with SEND to take control of their lives.
  • promoting physical and mental health as a priority for families dealing with these challenges which often also have financial and emotional implications.
  • affecting change by working with families, schools, local authorities, government, non-profits and organisations delivering services in the sector. Working together we can create a platform which will support improvement across services supported by greater knowledge, accountability, transparency and understanding.
  • promoting the idea that effective support to people with SEND is beneficial to all. That the social inclusion of individuals with SEND, in particular but without limitation of the UK, who are excluded from society or parts of society as a result of their SEND need, is necessary for society to flourish.
