We rescue and where possible re-home all kinds of animals from birds to horses. If they are abandoned,ill-treated or sick then we will do everything possible to help restore their trust in human nature, find them a forever home or if wildlife return them to their natural habitat.
A vital part of our work is encouraging people who are vulnerable in society to come to the rescue and by working with us in the care of the animals, to gain confidence in their ability to be a useful and valued member of the community.
The Education programme on how to care for animals and the environment which we carry out in schools and uniformed voluntary groups is highly valued and much in demand.
The rescue is a very special place where animals and people are repaired and given the ability to enjoy life once again.
We rescue both domestic and farm animals and wild life that have been ill-treated, abandoned or sick. After careful nursing and assessment if possible the animal is found a forever home or released back into the wild.
Recognising that people too are often isolated especially those who have mental health and other problems which lead to rejection from the community we encourage them to become a volunteer and by caring for the animals share in the comradeship offered within the rescue. Our experience in this field is extensive and we are amply rewarded by seeing both the animals and the humans achieve a happier place.
