Objectives

SCOREscotland works with partners to address the causes of racism and to provide support to families and young people, mostly from black, Asians and minority ethnic communities, who struggle with its adverse effects.  Our goal is to strengthen communities and to enable people to take an active and full part in civic life.

Our main services and activities include: dedicated 1to1 Case Work offering support and advocacy;  Anti-racist, inter-cultural Youth and Children's work for ages 7-24, Women’s Group work to address health inequality and social exclusion; Local CommUNITY Voices Project to enable minority ethnic communities to have a voice, engage with mainstream service providers; to re-design services where necessary and to move the hate crime prevention agenda forward;  SCOREscotland Green Futures Project designed to raise awareness of climate change and to promote positive action to mitigate climate change. We also offer Events and Activities designed to bring people together to facilitate integration and social cohesion. Although we target BME communities, we welcome all people.

Activities

What SCOREscotland does to meet these objectives is as stated above.
