Objectives

Salus exists because we believe that every person affected by Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and fatigue related conditions should have access to positive support and the opportunity to participate in all aspects of life.

Our charitable aim is to promote and protect the good  health of people who live with Chronic Fatigue and related conditions, their families, friends and carers in particular, but not exclusively, through advice, support, counselling and educational workshops.

Activities

Our team of staff, Health Practitioners and volunteers have used their own experiences of this condition to develop our unique positive approach. The Salus Programme provides a range of advice, education, and support services on nutrition, lifestyle, stress, sleep, pacing, relaxation, and pain management.  Our main operating base is Sutton Coldfield with community support groups held across Birmingham, Solihull, Staffordshire and increasingly across England. Beneficiaries can sign up to our monthly newsletter and members only closed Facebook page. This provides an essential lifeline for both beneficiaries and their families, inspiring and building confidence, reducing loneliness and frustration, giving people the knowledge and skills to take responsibility for improving their own health and wellbeing, and reintegrate in to society.
