Our Organisation helps beneficiaries who are a multicultural community, prone to have sickle cell blood disorder, such as Caribbeans, Mediterraneans, Asian, Italians ,Africans Sub Saharan , the Middle East and others; we {break the stigma} Our services offer informative media relative projects and programs on the blood disorder.Our current work is our celebrity charity song in aid of multicultural sickle cell awareness to raise funds for your Recreational centre based in London. Sickle Plus), an album by Rudimental on Spotify (the charity song - 'Higher' was musically produced by award winners Rudimental and written by Sickle Plus and 3 others, to be released in June 2020).We need volunteers support with our June 2020 vision (Recreational centre and charity song released date), (Volunteers Job 1 day per week or other): We are currently looking for volunteers who are skilled in any of the following titles : Fundraising strategy, Financial projection, General management or Project management , Development and planning , Counselling or IT skilled.
GOALS AND AIMS OF SICKLE CELL CAMPAIGN:
To continue to raise a greater recognition on Sickle cell anaemia, to find a cure
Continue to raise funds for a multi cultural recreational centre for Sickle cell sufferers
To help support the youth transition to adulthood making informative and positive life choices, regarding well being
The Sickle Plus team devise projects, such as musical concerts, showcases, poetry galas, fashion shows and small film projects to bring cohesion within the multi cultural cities that we live in. They also work on a mobile basis, travelling aboard, different locations and venues such as, schools, colleges, clubs, religious institutes, festivals and conferences. When doing so they are teaching and spreading awareness on sickle cell to a broad range of communities.
