Objectives

As a local Branch of the RSPCA, covering an area from Redcar to Staithes, Middlesborough, Thornaby, Guiseborough and surrounding areas, the branch is currently re establishing local trusteeship and a network of volunteers. Once completed the branch will devise a strategy to raise funds locally to help protect and look after animals in need and support people who are struggling at this challenging time. The branch also works closely with the local inspectors to support them with their roles and provide access to additional funds.

Activities

The branch relies on volunteers and there are many opportunities for people from local communities and diverse backgrounds to contribute and really make a difference. Activities will primarily revolve around fundraising as the branch does not have any retail presence or animal centre although we do support a cat re homing centre based in Darlington.
