Objectives

We are the RSPCA Leicestershire Branch and it's our vision to live in a world where all animals are respected and treated with compassion. Our volunteers are incredible, they play an essential role in helping us carry out our important animal welfare work every day.

We are an independent branch of the RSPCA and a charity with separate registration through the Charity Commission. This is an exciting opportunity to become involved with the Branch, helping to achieve our  purpose of promoting kindness and preventing cruelty to animals.

Activities

As a Branch we raise money locally to support the animal welfare work we do. We also aim to educate the public by offering advice, alongside our core purpose of rehabilitating and rehoming animals from our animal centre. We have just completed a seven-figure, state of the art Veterinary Facility at our Scudamore Road site and we employ our own Veterinary Surgeon and Vet nurse alongside an exciting partnership with the University of Nottingham Vet School. We also have a network of Charity Shops which also support our fundraising efforts with a further shop to open in Hinckley in the third quarter of 2022.
