RSPB Guildford & District Local Group is community based and run entirely by volunteers. It promotes the aims and objectives of the RSPB in the local community.
The Group offers RSPB members and the public the opportunity to become involved in, learn about and assist the organisation in its work to save nature.
The Group organises around 50 walks throughout the year, coach trips to more distant locations and 2 holidays annually. Indoor meetings are held twice monthly (except during the summer). It campaigns for the RSPB and runs fund-raising events including a Christmas Fair and a jumble sale. It also attends local community events to further enthuse and inspire people to support the RSPB.
