The Royal Berks Charity uses charitable funds to enhance patient care at the Royal Berkshire Hospital. Our role is to help provide the extras that make a difference to anyone who comes into contact with the hospital - by that we mean patients and staff, patient’s families and visitors to the hospital.
We raise money by organising fundraising events, and we also help, and advise, hospital departments who need to raise money, on the best way to go about it. Whatever's needed, thanks to the support of our generous donors, we work to make it happen.
We organise annual events, which include 'Walk For Wards'; Charity Golf Days; Musical evenings, as well as encouraging people to support the charity by taking part in sporting/fundraising events. RBC promotes, and assists, with specialised appeals for specific wards; we administer donations to the donors chosen ward, as well as donations to the general fund of the RBC, where we make sure that donations are directed to the department that has most need of it.
