Objectives

We are a hospice providing specialist palliative care across 300 square miles of South Devon to ensure every day is the best day it can be for patients, and those closest to them, living with life limiting illnesses.

Activities

Rowcroft Hospice provides impeccable specialist palliative and end of life care for free to over 2,500 patients per annum across an area of 300 sq. miles; of which 80% is at someone’s home or care home.

A specialist team of nurses, doctors, social workers and therapists are dedicated to making every day the best it can be for patients, and their families, living with life limiting illnesses. A multi-disciplinary approach ensures the hospice provides for medical, emotional, social, practical, psychological, and spiritual needs. Care also extends to those people who are close to the patient, and into the bereavement period after the patient has died.

Rowcroft are very driven by their charitable objective (to promote the relief of sickness by such charitable means as the association shall from time-to-time think fit) and wish to meet the forecast increased demand for its services head on, and extend end of life care to 3,000 patients by 2030.
