Roots Nursery School provides free nursery aged education in The Gambia, West Africa We currently have a very small school of 28 pupils which we hope will grow organically to 100 pupils over the next year when sufficient funds allow..
Our aim is to help our pupils from poverty through education
We fundraise in the UK to pay the salaries of our teacher and local contingent plus rent and upkeep on our school building. This is done through local fundraising and organised running events including the Brighton Marathon and The British London 10k
Our Charity Secretary visits regularly to oversee our school, team members and liase with the Gambian Department of Education.
