The charity works to ensures that the Model Village at Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire prospers and uses its funds to make grants mainly to small local charities within the Buckinghamshire and neighbouring areas.
The charity trustees support the operation of the Model Village which is run through a separate entity Bekonsoct Ltd, by representation on Bekonscot Ltd's board and providing strategic advice to entire the village and its operations are well run.
It also provides small grants to around 50 charities each year most of whom are local to Buckinghamshire.
