Rhondda Hub for Veterans is a non-profit organisation, supporting ex-veterans whose lifestyle has unfortunately led to homelessness/offending to include already within the Justice System. We assist with rebuilding their lives, promoting health and wellbeing by accessing suitable and sustainable accommodation and helping to equip for gaining the appropriate skills to move into sustainable employment and reduce the possibility of re-offending.
Our organisation aims to provide as many of the required 'tool's as possible to help an individual overcome the 'milestones' that are preventing integration back into mainstream life.
Without such support many ex-veterans find they have no where to turn to that will understand and relate to the challenges they face and as our services are specifically focused on the experiences and subsequent consequences of life in the forces we hope to be able to hone in on the individuals support needs thus providing the correct support to assist in overcoming and moving onto a normal fulfilling life.
We offer a variety of support service on and off site. Combined with our own specialist team and external partners we aim to provide support and guidance with Housing & Advice, Drug & Alcohol, Mental Health Employability Training, Group & Individual Mentoring, Benefit & Welfare Advice and sign-posting to other support groups who we have built up a wide-ranging network of organisations that can provide additional support.
