Objectives

We offer relationship counselling and psychosexual therapy to individuals, couples, families, children and young people across Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire.

Most people experience times when difficulties seem hard to cope with.  We help people overcome debilitating problems which may otherwise have long lasting effects on their lives and mental health. Our vital therapeutic relationship counselling services help people explore a way forward, work toward solutions and increase understanding of one another.

People need counselling for issues such as: divorce, separation, loss, illness, medical diagnosis, redundancy, finances, work-life balance, post-traumatic stress, low mood, emotional and behavioural difficulties or, for issues affecting wider family, social/friendships, work, school, college, or other relationships.

The impact of our support is improved relationships, social engagement, mental health and general wellbeing. Clients stay healthier longer, remain in work and retain stable family relationships with fewer breakups and less trauma inflicted on children. Our support helps them become emotionally resilient productive citizens contributing to local communities.

Our emphasis on early intervention helps prevent further problems eg severe depression, self-harm, excess drinking, drug-taking, risk-taking behaviour, antisocial behaviour or domestic abuse.
