Objectives

We connect refugees and asylum seekers in need with welcoming hosts by matching them with volunteer hosts who have a spare room for them to stay in safely for an emergency night, a few days, a week or months - whatever the host wants to offer.  Our help matters because we provide a safe place for refugees and asylum seeker to sleep and have a chance to re-build their lives often after already having been through traumatic experiences.

Activities

We assess hosts and guests (refugees and asylum seekers) referred to us by other agencies all over Britain and match them to provide accommodation.  This is done remotely through a huge database run by 5 employees and a huge group of volunteers.   The Board meets monthly to set the strategic direction, raise funds, promote the charity to recruit hosts and develop partnerships.
