We are a collective of individuals from a range of backgrounds (birth parents, social workers, lawyers, psychologists and academics) who are passionate about seeing transformation in systems that support and work with parents. We aim to reframe dominant narratives by highlighting the context and inequalities involved in the child protection system, and the hidden impact this process has on those involved.
The ReFrame team have a wide range of experience between them of supporting parents and working with systems around them. We are delighted to see so many local authorities looking into advocacy and involving parents but we are also aware of the personal impact this can have on parents and the support that is required. We offer bespoke support packages for parents’ involved in various work in local authorities and love to work with local authorities to think about parents’ wellbeing and development.
