RedSTART education programmes transform the life chances of some of the UK’s most disadvantaged children. It provides financial education through progressive learning from Reception to Year 6, as well as an opportunity for some of the older children to raise their aspirations by visiting a corporate office environment. We are partnering with an academic research provider to create a social mobility report with a long term aim to influence government policy to include financial education to all children as part of the National Curriculum.
RedSTART provides workshops, led by volunteers, to teach children financial education. These workshops have been accredited by Young Money/ Young Enterprise and include a range of fun and interactive games and activities that teach children the core principles of earning, saving, spending wisely and borrowing money.
