Redearth Education's mission is to give every boy and girl child the opportunity to thrive at school so that they can reach their full potential, better their life chances and make a positive, lifelong contribution to their communities.
Since 2006, Redearth Education has been working to tackle poverty in rural Uganda by lifting up the some of the country's poorest children through quality education. We encourage self-reliance and our projects are sustainable, aiming to build the capacity of local teachers and a Ugandan team of education specialists so that they can continue to improve the quality of education without external intervention. We are working in close partnership with the local Education Office, local teachers and a small team of Ugandan staff to support 132 government primary schools and build the capacity of 1,200 local teachers.
