Objectives

Rebuild East Midlands exists to support and assist survivors of human trafficking and modern slavery to overcome the barriers that they might face in starting a new life, free from slavery. Supporting them to fully access opportunities to embrace a hope filled future, Rebuild Project seeks to provide long term support that is needs led and developed in partnership with the individual.

Activities

Rebuild East Midlands exists to support individuals and families who have experienced Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery (HT & MS). As a specialist provider of long-term Modern Slavery support in Derbyshire, we have been delivering holistic, needs-led services for over six years, empowering survivors to break the cycle of exploitation and rebuild their lives with dignity and independence. We provide tailored, open-ended support to approximately 35 adults and their families at any given time, in addition to supporting around 20 individuals per year through our crisis support project. To date, we have worked with over 100 individuals who have experienced Modern Slavery, offering a person-centred, trauma-informed approach that addresses the deep, systemic barriers to recovery.
