We provide one-to-one coaching to adult members of the general public who have difficulty reading, using a specially-written reading scheme. Graduates of our coaching tell us that learning to read has, quite literally, changed their lives.
Read Easy Blackmore Vale North recruits, trains, organises and supports volunteers to coach to read adult members of the public who have reading difficulties, in accordance with the policies and procedures of Read Easy UK (Registered Charity No. 1151288) and thereby promote, sustain and increase for public benefit, individual and collective levels of adult literacy.
In order to carry these actions out, the Management Team has the power to:
(1) raise funds, receive grants and donations
(2) apply funds to carry out the work of the group
(3) co-operate with and support other Read Easy groups
(4) do anything else within the law and this constitution which is necessary to achieve the purposes.
