Objectives

Rayaan Brown Foundation is a gift giving charity that offers emotional support to children with cancer and their families because we understand the importance of emotional well-being for BOTH the parents and the child undergoing treatment.

We would like to help reduce the stress, anxiety and worry that comes with having a child with cancer and offer something uplifting and positive.  We strongly believe our unique gifting schemes offer comfort and support when it is most needed.

Currently we support the families at Leicester Royal Infirmary ward 27 children's cancer ward and the play specialists there.

Activities

From the moment a cancer diagnosis is made, multiple hospital visits are required and overnight stays.  Parents just want to focus on making sure their child is okay, which often means having no time to look after themselves leading to exhaustion, stress and worry.

We want to offer something uplifting and positive through the provision of our Box of Comfort made just for parents and carers staying in hospital with their child.

Our unique Box of Comfort contains practical items as well as items of comfort to make those unexpected nights away from home a little easier.

Currently being trialled at Ward 27, Leicester Royal Infirmary we would love to be able to offer our Box of Comfort nationwide to support as many families in hospital.

The Rayaan Brown Foundation also provides a bespoke Super Gift for children with cancer and histiocytosis.

We hand pick a range of wonderful gifts to match the individual child’s interests to reward their strength, bravery and courage.

No child deserves cancer, but what they do deserve is something that will make them smile and offer a positive boost when they may be feeling unwell and sad and we can do this with our Super Gift!

We have also provided NHS Supergifts to support the amazing work of our NHS staff during the Covid 19 pandemic.
