Objectives

At RSVP, we believe that everyone deserves a life free from sexual violence and abuse. We offer empathic services to support and inspire children and adults of all genders who have been affected by sexual violence and abuse.

Activities

Our confidential services are delivered with compassion, professionalism and humanity. We offer the tools, and understanding, to enable individuals to overcome the effects of sexual violence and make positive, meaningful changes for a hopeful and confident future.

Adult Advocacy,  Child Advocacy and LGBT Advocacy
Independent sexual violence advocates (ISVA) who provide advice and practical support to adults and children, for example, with reporting to the police, accessing  health services, crisis support, or any other advocacy needs.

Counselling
Specialist sexual abuse counselling to survivors and their supporters.

Helpline
Telephone helpline service offering support and information to survivors.

Social Groups
Social groups that enable survivors to socialise safely and feel less isolated.

Self-help
Written self-help information on how to overcome the effects of sexual violence and abuse.

Asylum Seeker & Refugee survivors
Support for asylum seekers and refugees who have experienced sexual violence, rape or sexual torture, in any country.

The Red Project
For women involved in sex work who may have experienced, or be at risk of experiencing, sexual violence.

Coffee mornings
Meet people and learn some useful coping strategies over a cup of coffee in our friendly and safe environment.

Arts with Hearts
Survivors meet weekly to make crafts and jewellery which are sold to fundraise for us.

Legal Clinic with Irwin Mitchell Solicitors
Free drop in legal clinics run by a specialist solicitors from Irwin Mitchell for survivors we are currently supporting and also those we have supported in the past.
