Objectives

RAIN (Regenerative Agroforestry Impact Network) is a non-profit CIC catalysing community-led reforestation efforts in the UK and Brazil through international mutual aid and community-led projects, sharing resources and knowledge to facilitate ecosystem restoration. Our projects are low-cost, scalable, high impact and lead by Indigenous nations and other frontline communities, because sustainable reforestation is best practiced by those in the know.

RAIN empowers people in love with their local environments to bring back life to the landscape. Our projects support a wave of interest in agroecology that is swelling in Brazil, and the impacts ripple outwards.

RAIN is a conduit for ideas and resources, and an accelerant for action in our race against the clock to control climate change.

Activities

RAIN projects are simple, relatively small and modular, designed to inspire action and be replicated across existing networks.

From sapling nurseries and river banks to agroforestry training and advocacy, our network supports reforestation initiatives to revitalise the land and its water systems in areas devastated by centuries of overexploitation.
