The Race Equality Foundation is a national charity tackling racial inequality to improve the lives of Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities.
We believe that everyone should be provided with the opportunities to flourish.
We tackle racial inequality across public services by:
We use evidence to deploy effective solutions in a number of areas. Our ground-breaking response to COVID-19 and the related racial inequalities saw us influence the overall response, as well as working with voluntary and community sector organisations to improve the support available to Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities. As well as this, our Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities (SFSC) inclusive parent education programme is now one of the largest programmes in the country. It consistently engages ‘poorly served’ parents and has also become a key violence prevention tool.
The high quality and unique nature of our work and our networks of change have seen us chosen as a Department of Health & Social Care, NHS England and Public Health England Strategic Partner and more recently becoming central to the membership of the Health and Wellbeing Alliance.
