Objectives

QAC is a national charity for people who are vision impaired and/or have other disabilities. We offer a wide choice of education programmes as well as training in independent living skills and work preparation programmes. We provide the means and the confidence for disabled youngsters to be as independent as possible in their lives making a real difference to them, their families and to society. Prior to establishment as an independent charity QAC was a part of Birmingham Royal Institution for the Blind.

Activities

We offer a number of programmes from entry level through to qualifications and each student has an individual learning plan. We also provide supported accommodation for those who have left college to live as independently as possible and work programmes for older people. We have a trading subsidiary which provides valuable services for disabled people whilst supporting the work of the charity.
