Qoys Daryeel (Family Care) aims to help members of the local community, primarily those from BAME backgrounds, women, families and those requiring mental health advocacy and counselling. Through our monthly community meetings, weekly school programs that we hold across three local primary schools, our monthly coffee mornings, monthly workshops, organised activity days and work with organisations such as the NHS we have successfully completed a number of services over the last year. We are always looks for new avenues to continue our work and we believe that the best help accessible to our local community members comes from organisations such as ours, where they have easy access to any services that they may require.
Qoys Daryeel (Family Care) holds workshops, coffee mornings, weekly school programs that include parenting courses and health advocacy. We work alongside the NHS to encourage women to attend screenings to help prevent cervical cancer. We also encourage our volunteers to reach out to the younger community to hold events or activity days.
