Objectives

Pyramid Health and Social Care Association (PHASCA) was started by Health Service Workers from the NHS in 1999, with the aim of becoming a successful advocate and provider of counselling and psychotherapy to members of the black and ethnic minority community and others.

PHASCA pledges to assist parents and carers to become successful parents and help them understand transitional changes in their children's lives to cope with the challenges within society.

The charity is committed to the advancement of a highly effective community-led service.

The mission is to promote the physical, mental, psychological and social health and well-being in families and children from all communities.

Vision: A community where everyone can access opportunities to improve their health education and wellbeing.

Mission: Our mission is to be an agent of positive change in the lives of local residents by delivering community-led projects improving health, education and well-being.

Activities

PHASCA has run a wide range of programs to benefit the community of Haringey. We at PHASCA are dedicated to enriching the lives of those in the community. We work mostly with marginalised members of the community and deliver needs-led services that promote the educational, psychological and social well-being of local people.

PHASCA has been working closely with young people in the community by running projects that benefit them directly. PHASCA hopes that by enriching their lives, they are less likely to be involved in crime and will go on to become confident and productive adults.

PHASCA wants to make a difference in the following areas:

  • Integration
  • Inclusion
  • Connectivity
  • Maximising opportunities
  • Aspiration

We achieve the above practically through the work we do; the projects we undertake are designed in a manner that advances the above areas.
