Activities

Pyramid invests in the personal development of people with learning disabilities and/or autism and has a strengths-based approach to all activities. We run group and 1:1 sessions in which people can meet, socialise, learn new skills and produce great art, which we share with a wide audience. Our members produce fantastic results and we exhibit regularly, demonstrating publicly the positive contribution that people with learning disabilities and autism make in the world.

Our projects help people to practise self-expression and decision making, gain confidence, and improve their communication and collaborative working skills. Some members want to pursue careers in the arts and we have an excellent track-record of assisting them to gain commissions and arts funding, and to sell work. Our methodology and expertise enables people to develop skills at their own pace: there are no expectations, end dates, or pressures and everyone works in their own way with personalised support.
