Purpose Art's main goal is to provide emotional, mental and creative support for creative people. Purpose Art has a focus age of 18-30 but welcome's creatives of all ages - because there is no limit in who can create great art & who should have access to emotional support. Founded by R&B Singer and Songwriter Zoe Yovela, the vision is to see creatives flourish in all communities, whether musicians, painters, designers, business owners. The platform's focus is on the Christian Faith and is expressed through a Christian lens, but all beliefs are welcome. The goal is to offer weekly sessions, either virtually or physically, providing support and enlightenment on the topic of mental health and creativity to a young audience. Maintaining our mental-health and understanding our identity is pivotal in the life of a creative.
Purpose Art focuses on weekly posts on Instagram, providing perspective and information three times a week. The posts include:
Mental-health Monday's (posted every Monday) - These posts focus on different topics on mental health and well-being, offering tips, guidance and spiritual support to followers with personally designed graphics included.
Wednesday Quotes (Wednesdays) - Wednesday's Quotes focuses on different known creatives and their work: poets, musicians, health-coaches, artists, photographers, teachers etc. Our focus at the moment is Brene Brown and her 'definitions' of life values.
Featured Friday's (Posted on Friday's) - This is the opportunity to quote and share the page of a creative within the Purpose Art community - followers, fellow known artists etc. The posts feature an image of the person featured as well as a quote that reflects them and their daily walk, in the hopes of sharing their story, as well as inspiring and motivating readers.
