Our Mission

At Purple Turtle Co we aim to synergise nature with human behaviour,  through collaboration, education and innovation. By creating a platform for sustainability we believe we can solve the world’s sustainability problems and protect the environment. 

Our Philosophy

We are a new start up organisation run completely by volunteers, with the sole purpose of trying to solve the single use plastic crisis and protect our oceans. 

Our philosophy is simple. In order to solve the plastic waste crisis we must execute a 3 step strategy. 

1 - Educate society.

• The first thing we do is help educate society on the dangers of plastics and the impact they are causing on human health, wildlife and ecosystems. We do this through a team of content writers, social media managers and SEO experts, all working together to provide educational content to our growing following of over 30,000 people across social media. 

2. - Provide the tools.

• To support consumers and businesses to get to a zero-waste operation and lifestyle. We do this through a dedicated team of product designers and engineers, creating innovative products that will provide solutions to single use problems.

3 - Waste Management Solutions

• The final piece of the puzzle is then coming up with waste management solutions to deal with the plastic that we are unable to remove from the economy. Introducing new technology and processes to ensure a circular economy is achieved and the plastic we produce as a planet is used the most sustainable and efficient way.

We currently have over 30 volunteers working for us in different areas such as product design, engineering, content writing, social media management, SEO, investments and marketing. The idea of our organisation is to create a social enterprise whereby passionate likeminded people can come together and contribute real change within the plastic sustainability space.
