Protecting Preloved Border Collies actively messages free to good home adverts to warn owners of the dangers of advertising their dog as 'free'. Should an owner require our assistance in taking their collie into rescue then we endeavour to help. The rescue is foster based and all collies are placed in foster homes for assessment and any veterinary requirements prior to being put up for adoption. All dogs are matched to homes.
Protecting Preloved Border Collies actively messages new adverts on a daily basis. Should owners require our help we request dog assessments and dangerous dogs act forms be completed. We also assess and homecheck those asking to foster or adopt. Transport is also arranged to remove dogs from their original homes and deliver to fosterers. Fund raising has to be very active to enable us to cover veterinary and transport costs plus any other needs that the collies may have eg behaviourists, feed etc.
