Objectives

PRIME runs weekly football sessions for over 35s with the aim of getting midlife men physically and socially active in their community.

With men being at the bottom of happiest curve in their 40s and 50s, and at high risk of mental and physical health issues, our football communities enable midlife men get active and build social connections through a shared interest.

Activities

PRIME runs hour-long football sessions every Saturday at 10am and exclusively for over 35s. Sessions are fun, friendly and for all abilities. Facilitated by a trained PRIME volunteer, each session is specifically designed to get people back into football and prevent injury, and consists of a warm-up, drills, 5-aside game and cool-down. Through these weekly sessions, a diverse local community of like-minded people is created.

PRIME currently runs weekly sessions at 3 London venues: Southwark, Vauxhall and Camden (new) with the aim to run sessions nationally becoming 'the ParkRun for Football'.
