Objectives

We believe it is our civic duty to create opportunities for children, young people and adults to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed, both now and in the future. We help people to build skills in teamwork, leadership and resilience. Our projects may be diverse but they all connect to at least one of these core services. Our work is founded upon the belief that children and young people have the lived experience and expertise to identify, prioritise and lead the action necessary to effect change. We take young people on journeys to become socially conscious, critically thinking, active members of society.

Activities

- Our sport study programmes along with enjoyable, non-formal recreational activities enhance sport participation and increase knowledge of everyday health and wellbeing. It’s not just about being active, it’s about learning soft skills for life.

- Our arts and cultural provisions advance creative methods and promote cultural diversity in order to both develop a stronger artistic ecology within the area and increase beneficiaries’ knowledge of living in a multi- ethnic community.

-  We help people to achieve accredited qualifications, giving them life skills and learning to advance their personal growth. Our range of personal development programmes provide learners with the key transferable skills and practical work experience to enhance their economic and employable futures, improving their quality of life.

- All of our programmes are developed to improve mental health and wellbeing. We believe that giving people purpose is a major step towards building their confidence. We offer support where we can and refer to our professional network when we need additional help.
