Power of Zero is a global initiative that brings together parents, educators, corporate citizens, and researchers to protect the well-being of children in an increasingly online world.  We are addressing the biggest societal change that childhood has been through since the Industrial Revolution. Children are now online from their earliest years and in more developed regions average five hours a day online by the age of eight, suffering impacts to their physical and psychological well-being that we are only beginning to understand.

We want to engage children across multiple platforms in learning the life skills that they need to navigate their online offline lives. In this next phase we are developing lessons, videos, games and storybooks to engage children around the world and support their social and emotional development.  Power of Zero is the story of parents, teachers, researchers, corporate citizens and philanthropists coming together for the sake of young children.  Our global steering committee includes UNESCO, UNICEF, Microsoft, Xbox, Snap, and NGO’s from around the world.
